Bar Mitzvah Kotel - Robinson's Arch Family section - Masorti section. This was one of the most unusual Bar Mitzvah celebrations we have ever photographed in Jerusalem. Because of the war, the ceremony had to be postponed several times, but after multiple reschedules, Rob was finally able to hold this important and emotional Bar Mitzvah ceremony in Israel. Yes, he turned 60 years old, but he didn't have a bar mitzvah before! A year later, family and guests gathered together to celebrate the occasion on the anniversary, enjoying a beautiful gathering, party, and meal at Mamilla Restaurant in Jerusalem.
Part of the Bar Mitzvah ceremony was dedicated to volunteer work and remembrance for the Holocaust museum, honoring a child who was murdered in a concentration camp and never had the chance to celebrate his own Bar Mitzvah. This deeply meaningful moment added another layer of memory, Jewish history, and spiritual connection to the celebration in Jerusalem.
